![]() ![]() Our architecture is designed for decent privacy, but supporting multiple PermIDs requires quite a bit of engineering effort. Creating single-purpose/single-use addresses helps preserve a user's anonymity. Three peers are involved: Alice, Bob, and Charlie the Conveyance peer. This first phase in the NAT puncturing process requires a few new messages. In principle users can own multiple PermIDs, and in fact can generate new ones without any practical limit, as generating a new address requires relatively little computing, simply equivalent to generating a public/private key pair, and requires no contact with any nodes of the network. It is a feature of IPv8 to discover these. Our approache uses the social networks to find the IP of a PermID. (IP) address and Port number at which a peer is connectable must be found. Upon first use of the system a user must be able to quickly build up a social network in the Tribler network. This BitTorrent client is loaded with features like UpnP/NAT-PMP port. The current Tribler system allows users to copy their PermID and send it to.
