For the proportion of terminal degree faculty ranking factor, in the past we based the proportion on only full-time instructional faculty with terminal degrees.As a result of this change, schools will no longer have their SAT/ACT score discounted in the ranking based on whether their total SAT/ACT percent submitted was higher or lower than a percent submitted level in the previous ranking this percent submitted threshold was 50%. For those schools, we reallocated the 5% weight of the test score indicator to the average six-year graduation rate and high school standing ranking factors. For schools with less than 50% of their fall entering class having SAT/ACT scores in both fall 2021 and fall 2020, their test scores were not used in their ranking. For schools that reported fall 2021 SAT/ACT scores on fewer than half their new entrants, we are using their "pre-pandemic" fall 2020 scores as long as they were reported on more than half of new entrants.
